1. Mengapa level pengambil keputusan membutuhkan knowledge?
Manajemen membutuhkan informasi sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan mereka. Sistem informasi mempunyai peranan yang penting dalam menyediakan informasi untuk manajemen setiap tingkatan. Tiap-tiap kegiatan dan keputusan manajemen yang berbeda membutuhkan informasi yang berbeda. Oleh karena itu untuk dapat menyediakan informasi yang relevan dan berguna bagi manajemen, maka pengembang system informasi harus memahami terlebih dahulu kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh manajemen dan tipe keputusannya.

terjadinya sebuah misskomunikasi antara pelanggan dengan pelayan hotel, karena pelayan mengikti kata manager. Solusinya adalah perintah dari pelanggan langsung disampaikan kepada manager agar tidak terjadi kesalahan dalam menjalankan perintah.
c.) Mini case 3
tidak adanya keputusan yang diambil. Solusinya adalah kerjasama tim agar tidak ada miscommunication serta pengambilan keputusan dari masalah yang terjadi selama ini dan memuaskan pelanggan agar tidak terulang kembali kegagalan itu.

     Goodwill dalam bahasa Indonesia dapat diartikan sebagai kebaikan. Sebuah knowledge dapat meningkatkan kebaikan suatu perusahaan     adalah dengan :

Intellectual asset atau Aset Intelektual adalah sebuah ilmu pengetahuan, pengalaman, dan kemampuan(skills) daripada karyawan sebuah perusahaan yang dapat digunakan(asset)

3. Jelaskan mengapa knowledge semakin dibutuhkan?
Knowledge (Ilmu Pengetahuan) semakin dibuktuhkan karena beberapa hal yakni:
a.) Ilmu pengetahuan adalah kunci untuk segala sesuatu
